Escape students visit BlueBolt

We had an awesome afternoon welcoming this wonderful bunch of Escape Studios students and talent development manager Will Hughes, to our studio here in St James Park, London.

Our Head of 3D Nicholas Birmingham and 3D artists Aman Kukreja (a fellow 'Escapee') and Alex Charlilaou were all on hand to share their top tips on how to make that perfect reel and navigate those first steps into our industry. And our VFX Supervisor Rich Frazer revealed just what it took to create the epic battle sequences in his recent project - the popular Netflix/Carnival Films historical drama The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die.

It's a priority for us to be able to engage with the universities and schools training the next generation of VFX artists and technicians coming through and to share our knowledge and experience with them.
